About Us

Ms. Bolden, a native from Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from Spelman College with a degree in Biochemistry and from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business with an MBA in Finance. She has spent much of her life in the investment and mortgage banking industries, with such notable corporations as Morgan Stanley, Banc One Capital Corporation and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

In 2016, Ms. Bolden and her twin daughters, McKay and McKenzie, launched the concept for L.is.a.Luxury Collection. The concept was born out of Ms. Bolden's passion for stemware and entertaining. Fast forward to 2018, L.is.a.Luxury Collection opened its doors with the company's first Sip and Shop in-home parties, a major distribution outlet for the company (see "Partner with Us - Host a Sip, Shop and Share Party"). These private events not only display the beautiful products and functional works of art featured within the L.is.a.Luxury Collection, but also serve as platforms to teach the audience not only how to entertain, but how to entertain effortlessly.

One of the precepts behind L.is.a.Luxury Collection stemware is that each piece should make the holder feel glamorous…feel gorgeous…feel spectacular! In that vein, Ms. Bolden feels that stemware is a lot like jewelry…meant to be worn when you hold it, and not just used. As a result, Ms. Bolden incorporates a lot of genuine 23k gold, Swarovski crystals and ornate jewels as accents within the L.is.a.Luxury Collection. According to Ms. Bolden, "the beauty of each piece is meant to evoke a spirit of joy for the beholder and hence, Elevate the Experience of Entertaining and Enhance the Experience of Living."

P.T. Barnum once said, "the noblest art is that of making others happy". To that end, L.is.a.Luxury Collection endeavors to accomplish that goal!
